Joining the organization as an Auxiliary, Associate or Honorary member provides access to the benefits offered by the RDÉE Shared-Services Co-op. The description, benefits and costs of each member category are provided below.

Full member means an entity undertaking commercial activities on the basis of co-operative principles and accepted as a Full member by the SSC board of directors. Only Full members are entitled to vote. These members are RDÉE network and RDÉE Canada members. They save money on purchases and receive rebates for Co-op overpayments.

Full members are:

  • RDÉE Canada member organizations
  • RDÉE Canada

Benefits for Full members:

  • Right to vote at annual general meetings
  • Eligible to become a member of the SSC board of directors
  • Rebates on overpayments
  • Complete management of the SSC
  • Access to investment shares
  • Discounts on purchases
  • Access to professional services

Membership fees:

  • Member shares $100
  • 12.5 % of the SSC’s savings
Auxiliary member means an Associate member or an Honorary member who, in the opinion of the board of directors, demonstrates keen interest in the SSC’s goals and objectives but who is not eligible to become a Full member. Auxiliary members have the opportunity to recruit members from their association or network, thereby generating revenue based on the rate of use of services by the members that they recruit.

Auxiliary Members are:

  • Provincial and national associations
  • Provincial and national federations
  • Provincial committees

Benefits for Auxiliary Members:

  • Access to investment shares
  • Discounts on purchases
  • Access to professional services
  • 5% rebate by the SSC of savings to its members based on usage

Membership Fees

  • Member shares $100
  • Annual dues $200
  • 5 % of the SSC’s savings
An Associate member is a member’s member or a client of an Auxiliary member. An Associate member may benefit from group purchases and professional services subject to annual dues being paid.

Associate Members are:

  • Clients of Full or Auxiliary members
  • The members of Full or Auxiliary members

Benefits for Associate Members:

  • Access to investment shares
  • Discounts on purchases
  • Access to professional services

Membership Fees:

  • Member shares $100
  • Annual dues $200
  • 5 % of the SSC’s savings
Honorary member means a business or an association that is associated neither with a Full member nor an Auxiliary member and would like to have access to SSC services. An Honorary member may benefit from group purchases and professional services subject to annual dues being paid.

Honorary Members are:

  • Businesses, associations and self-employed workers that are not associated with a Full or Auxiliary member

  • Access to investment shares
  • Discounts on purchases
  • Access to professional services

Membership Fees:

  • Member shares $100
  • Annual dues $250
  • 5 % of the SSC’s savings
